There is no learning a language without understanding its culture. When it comes to teaching English, nothing more amusing than making our students learn how festivals and holidays are celebrated all around the world. That is why this workshop will be a unique experience to be shared with our pupils. The aim of this presentation is to bring some ideas of how can we adapt cultural aspects and introduce them in the classroom through songs, films, texts, crafts and games among others. Let's celebrate!
Fernanda Regadas Campos holds a degree in Languages from PUCRS. She has taken courses in English as a second language in Daytona Beach and Deland, Florida , USA. She is the founder of Línguas Idiomas and Inspiration Group. She has been an ELT teacher for over 16 years in which he has attended to several conferences, seminars, workshops, teacher's training courses and immersion courses. Her experience also includes being a coordinator of language courses and translator at events like Salão do Estudante. Nowadays she is working with the development of English teachers and dedicating herself to Popping Up Ideas.
